  2. Long ago there was a man dying in a house near Knockeen mountain about three miles from here. All of a sudden there was a great cry outside the door; and the people of the house went out and they saw the Bean-sidhe going up the side of the mountain. Then there were some men in the house and they followed her. When they were coming near her she turned around and looked at them; and while she was looking at them they could not stir. Then she turned around again and ran; and the men continued their hunt after her. Then after running a long distance she turned and looked at them again. Then she began to run again; and she kept looking at them at the same time; and after a while she disappeared. Then the men returned to the house and the man was dead.
