    A craftswoman came into the cow house in the form of a dog and began milking the cows. When he moved she ran and he sent the dog after her and the dog caught and battered all her body.
    It is said that they cured horses by charms of fancy. Sometimes they used wands and said strange words and did queer actions.
    Today those charms and spells are done away with.
