  1. A Collection of Riddles
    [Answer in square brackets]
Long ago the people used to spend most of their time in the evening solving riddles. They use to spend the long winter nights by the fireside and find great amusement in giving and solving riddles. Here are some the riddles.
Why is a policeman like a rainbow?
[Because he always comes out after a storm.]

Black and white and read all over?
    [A newspaper.]
As black as ink, as white as milk and hops on the road like hailstones.
    [ A magpie]
Two legs on the ground and three legs overhead and the leg of the living in the mouth of the dead.

[A man carry a pot on his head]
