  1. There is a lios near Castletownroche on a farm owned by Roches of the Cross mentioned above. Long ago one of the Roches - a girl - was extremely fond of dancing. She was returning home late one night, and had to pass by the lios on their farm. Hearing sounds of music and dancing within the lios she went in or was invited in by the Good People.
    She remained there dancing all night, and came home in the morning, went to bed, and never got up till she was taken out dead. She appeared to have been seized with some mysterious illness, which could not be
