  1. If money is given out on a Monday it is said you will be giving out money for the rest of the week.
    A bridesmaid three times never a bride.

    If any accident happened at a wedding party it is said to bring them bad luck.

    When work is started on a Saturday it is never finished.
    Wear something new on Easter Sunday or you will have the curse of the crows.
    If you put on your stockings wrong side out it is said you will have great luck for the day, but you must let them so.
    "See a pin and pick it up all the day you will have good luck, see a pin and let it lay no luck all day."
    Open an umbrella inside a house and hold it over your head and you will grow no more.
    When you are going on a journey you should never turn back.
    It is wrong to cross over a young person's feet.
    It is great luck to have a horse shoe nailed on the back of a stable door.
