  1. South of the large townland of Lisrobin is
Kippagh Townland from which it is separated by a stream flowing east and into the Abha Caol opposite Lisdangan and at the junction of the two streams three townlands adjoin and this is where those women engaged in pisheóg-working come for water which they utilize on May Day - a powerful day for pisheógs- On the western part of Kippagh are three spring wells the water of which feels warm in frost and is icy cold in Summer. Near each of these wells is a mound of folach fiadh and as one of these mounds near the western well was being dug up and removed some 40 years ago to make a borheen, there was unearthed a through 3 feet long, 14 inches high and 14 inches wide made of oak, the sides and ends being held together by wooden spikes: it was quite black and very like the oak taken from bogs.
