- A man lived in Bally - Bay he was of a strange character. He delighted in playing tricks on people even though they were of great injury to them.
The tricks were as follows. =
He saw a woman walking to town one Saturday, he said to her wait I will be going to town bye and bye. She waited until all the cars were gone, then he said he would be going on Thursday. On another occasion a person asked a setting of eggs, he said call in one hour and I will have them ready. She called back and he had the eggs boiled and gave them to her as fresh ones.
