  2. Some years ago when there were no doctors the people had to seek remedies for their ailments. Many people possessed cures, and even to the present day certain families possess them.
    Sore throats. The people cures sore throats with roasted salt and they cure mumps with gladum. They heat the gladum and then apply it to the affected part.
    Warts. Warts are cured with rock-water. The wart is dipped into the rock-water and after nine days the wart disappears. They are also cured with a snail. The snail is rubbed on the wart and then it is put
