    Sometime ago tailors used live here and there through the country and make the clothes for the people in the district. There was a Mr. Connolly for this district. The people long ago used to buy the materials and then they used to ask the tailor to come to the houses and make the clothes for them. At present there are merchant tailors and they live in the town, and they get the material from the Irish mills. At present the people do not spin or weave at home, they get their materials from the Cork mills.
