    Friday is supposed an unlucky day for a marriage and Wednesday is a lucky one. Matches are made in Tullaroan. The nearest relatives of the parties getting married settle the amount of money given.
    Old shoes were thrown after the Bride for luck.
    "Straw Boys" went to the house of the Bride disguised and masked, and danced and sang and feasted. They were liked very much.
