- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)piled up on a table. A closing tongs was got and the flax was brought through it. It was two flags opposite and another a great iron was put under one of these and a tongue of iron came up between the flags. The flax was then taken to a weaver who wove it into linen both fine and coarse.
- Twigs were got and left season for some time until fit for use. Then they put the twigs on the ground and wove them on a frame. Afterwards handles would be made of a twigs and attached to the basket if necessary.
