    anvil and stedge.
The smith shoes horses, asses, and ponies. He makes ploughs harrows, scuffers spades and gates. Wheels are made in the open air in a shoeing stone.
It is said that forge water is a cure for warts when taken unknown to the smith. The forge is a great place for the young neighbouring boys to relate the latest stones when they gather together every night there.
