    Out of the fort. The little man told them to set the spuds for this poor man. So they all took a skilláwn and set it, and Paddy went home singing. The potatoes grew up and never before or since was such a crop of spuds dug out of the fort. People came from far and near to see them, every one was as a big as a turnip.     Some farmers in this place grow over two acres of potatoes each. Some farmers grow a quarter of an acre, others grow half an acre, others grow one and a half acres and others grow two acres, and others grow two acres. The ground is manured on the flat with sea-weed first. Some times the ground is manured with farm-yard manure. First of all the drills are opened and the manure is spread in the furrows. The potatoes are cut into two or three sgioláns. After a while the
