    When Cormac was old enough he went to Tara herding sheep for a poor woman. One of them broke into the kings garden and ate the vegetable. She was brought to court to Tara. The king said that the woman would have to give the sheep to the queen. Cormac who was listening, said "That is a very unfair judgement. Give the wool of the sheep to the queen and both wool and vegetables will grow again."
    The people of the court said "that is a kings statement." Cormac was king of Ireland and he ruled the country very well.
