man hunting on Keash hill one day and he found a wolf and young playing in one of the caves. He saw a child playing with them. He knew that if he went down he would be eaten, so he went out to the back o the hill and lit a fire and put bacon in it. The wolf and young when they found the scent of the bacan ran to the fire.
The man got Cormac and him in the well, which we now call Short's well, so he got the reward. Cormac was reared in Luna's house. One day when he was out playing with his cousins. He accidentally struck one of them. His cousin said "I've been struck by someone whose race in father no knows." Cormac got vexed and told his uncle Luna and he said hat his father was king of Ireland once and that he would be a King too
