Long ago people used to believe in a little fairy, called a Lepreachan. He is about two feet high. He lives on honey and dewdrops and sometimes he eats herbs.
Sometimes he lives in a boast tree trunk, or in a little hole made under the tree.He is supposed to dressed in a green top hat, and a little red jacket and a pair of buckled shoes. His occupation is cobbling. Some people believe, that if a person, catches a Lepreachan, and does not let him go, the Lepreachan will lead him to a pot of gold.
A mermaid is half a fish and half a girl. She lives under in a cave and she lives on seaweed and small fish. Every night she comes out of the water and sits on a rock, while combing her lang hair. Every mermaid has long hair. A mermaid is supposed to be more beautiful that any human being.
