   If you got a dead animal in your land, tis a sign of bad luck.
   It isn't right to show a dog a looking glass.
   It isn't right to say "Lie Down" to a black dog by night.
   You should never tease a cat.
   When a horse or a colt is sold, it is not right to give away the head collar with him.
   You should always give a "luck-penny" when a person gives you any kind of an animal (i. e. a pup, a kitten, a pet lamb).
   You should never bring fresh meat in a car, if twas a mare-in-foal you had under the car.
   They say a cat is supposed to have nine lives.
