Dublin Road to the Workhouse road.
It is used even for motor traffic when part of the Dublin Road, cut off by it, is flooded by the Shannon during the winter months.
    4. Culatumba Road: rather historic since the "Black + Tan" time. There was an ambush on the road in which the Irish had the victory. Soldiers then lived in huts along this road.
    5. SPa Boreen: about two miles on the Jamestown side of Carrick-on-Shannon. On the side of the road is a Spa Well, where there is a sulphur Spring, which is supposed to rival that of Lisdoonavarna.
