- Long ago the people had a great deal of churning to do. They had no creameries so they had to make a butt of the butter and sell it. The people long ago used to give the buttermilk to pigs. Some people long ago had a horse-church. In the townland of Tullymorrow a man named Seán Mc Morrow had a horse church. The churn was fixed inside the house and had a pipe attached to it which came out through the wall. The horse was traced to the pipe and walked round the house and that churned the milk. Nowadays people use a hand church and a barrel churn.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
