  1. In 1881 there was a storm of wind which blew. Mr. Robinson corn (Toolette, Co. Donegal) into Mr Porter's corn & mixed them up. There was a law suit about it.
    This 1917 Snow Storm happened the year I came here - A. Davison
    In 1917 there was a very severe Snow Storm in the Middle of the month of April, during the Easter Holidays, The snow was so deep, that the people had to gather, & dig up, even the main roads to get into the towns for food & other necessaries. It lasted about 3 weeks. Their doors were blocked up when they awoke up in the morning, & they had to shovel away the snow to make passages to their out-houses.

    On 22nd December 1894, there was a great storm of Wind. Derry boat lost, and Captain Boggs & his mate were lost.
    C. Boggs left a wife & two children, who still live in Derry in Harvey Street,
    Brady was a nephew to Boggs. (his sister's son.)
