Ar an leathanach seo

  1. There are only two holy wells in this district, one up at Grianan Castle and the other up in Holly Well Hill, and in the Summer on feast days the people go up to bless them.
    It is said that Owen O'Neil was converted through St. Patrick preaching and baptised by the St. in the well outside the castle which is called St. Patrick's well.
    There is a story told about the holy well at Holly Well Hill, which is as follows - Some person brought a scabby horse out of Derry and washed it in the well. The well dried up and sprang up in another part of the hill. This seems to be a true story as it is told by several people in the locality.
    Some of the people put money in the wells and others put ribbons and pencils. They bless these
