A good many years ago there was a man named Johnny Blackwood living in Maherennan which is in the suburbs of Letterkenny, who was enormously strong. Once when he was going to harrow a field, he carried with him a pair of harrows under one arm and a sack of seed under the other, so as to have his horses still fresh when he reached the field.
