I only know one shoemaker in the district. George Crawford is his name and he lives in Manor.
There are not very many clogs worn now. They used to make leather in Letterkenny. My father thinks the yard it was made in belongs to a man the name of Doherty now.
I know not know of any shoes that were made from skin untanned.
