    Lord. Crann Dealtaine is sticks put up above the doors. A name is put on each of them. If a girl comes in in under one of the sticks on which there is a boys name that will be the name of her man.

Holly used to be put up at Christmas and palm used to be put up on palm Sunday. It was the custom long ago to make crosses for St. Patrick’s day. The man of the house used to collect a cloak
