    The man went after her and as he was crossing stepping-stones over a small river he found half-a-crown on one of them. The same thing happened every evening for a few weeks. The cow strayed and the man while looking for her found the half-crown on the stone. At first he said nothing about it.
    One day he told the wife about it. The next day he went with her and there was nothing on the stone. The voice came from under it. “Ha! Ha! old [sic] long tongue, you will get no more.[”]
