The lady looked vexed and said "let him be thrown into the lake outside the wood" Barney got into a terrible state with these people and as they advanced to take him away he gave one cry and then he knew no more.
    When morning came he found himself at the foot of the hill, and so the hill is called after him. It is said that afterwards he was always bright and cheerful
