Folklore
On 24th October, 1934, there was much damage caused in upper Faha by a bog slide which was caused by a heavy rainfall on the previous day.
There is a hill sloping from Dromindoora valley for about a mile and at the top of the hill there is a large bog.
This bog is wet and soft and is undermined by water which caused an explosion which opened the bog and caused it to come down on the valley.(continues on next page)- Collector
