    3. Holy Wells .
We have one Blessed Well in the townland of Castletown.it is called Brigid's Well.People come from far away places to it.They can come every day of the week. They have to say the Rosary going around on their knees.Everyone who went there with sore eyes was cured.A man was brought there ,he was told to stay there for thirteen nights but on the third night he was cured. They used to bathe their eyes with the water. They leave flowers ,and medals at the well .There is a big stone at the side of the well and they leave the offerings upon it.There is no fish in it .It is surrounded by trees.
