    spadach spadha - wet turf: it's only spadha

    gríscin - her skin was in a greaskin - inflammed red
    gioscrach - small person: you're only a girthra (to boys)
    cebeil - used as ceileabhar, (noise)
    clábar - wet clay: he was covered with klabar
    cárr - distortion of features; he put a kar on him.
    pus} - he had a pus (or gob) on him: gob} said of one who was in a sulk.
    cadra - a fat low set person is called a kadhra.
    mealbhóg - you'll be malavogued: you'll get a good beating.
    smidiríní - broken in smithereens.
    brais} - take a brash at a churning
    also a brash of sickness.
    bodach - a fellow given to boasting of his physical ability: his only a badhak.
