    or two motor-cars which are decorated with flowers and colored ribbons. There is generally an old shoe tied to the back of the car for luck.
    Occasionally the bride is dressed in a long white dress and a wreath and veil. Most brides wear a customer of some nice colour. It is considered unlucky to wear black.
    After Mass the bride and bridegroom and the bridesmaid and best man go into the vestry to sign their names in the parish register. When they are going through the church-yard the people throw confetti on them for luck.
    The wedding breakfast is held either in a Hotel or in the bride's house. When the breakfast is over, they get photographs taken of the wedding group.
    Then the bride and bridegroom go away on their honeymoon to Dublin or England.
