    So this twice.
    A cure for a sting of a nettle is to get a dock-leaf and rub it to the sting and say "Dock-leaf, dock-leaf, in and out; take the sting of the nettle out."
    Wart are cured by dipping them in a well in Clonosey about two miles from Belturbet. First you should drop a pin or a hairpin or a needle or a halfpenny or a penny or something like that into the water and then dip the warts and make the Sign of the Cross three times and the warts disappear.
    The cure for the "Thrush" or sore mouth is to breathe into the mouth of the person three times and say "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost."
