  1. Hidden Treasure
    12-11-1937
About three miles from the town of Belturbet are the ruins of an old monastery called Drumlane Abbey. It is said that there is a lot of money hidden around the ruins, especially under a certain bush growing in the middle of a field.
Many attempts have been made to cut this bush but so far no one has succeeded. One man who attempted to cut it hurt his hand and the hand never got better. Another man attempted to cut it and the axe flew out of his hand and could never be found.
