  1. 1. Oh my Jesus: I know I have to die but I know not when or how or where, but if I die in mortal sin I shall be lost for ever.
O Jesus! have mercy upon me.
    2. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ crucified, I lie down to rest. Bless me O Lord defend and govern me and after this short and miserable pilgrimage bring me to everlasting happiness through Christ Our Lord Amen.

I say these prayers when I go to bed at night.
    Daddy taught them to me.
