  1. On my Father's farm there are about three acres of potatoes grown every year.
    About two and a half acres of these potatoes are grown in drills the other half acre is grown in ridges.
    The potatoes are planted in a field which has given a crop of lea corn the preceeding year.
    The potato ground is prepared by a man who works one my father's farm.
    In the early winter the stubble ground is ploughed
