  2. Local Marriage Customs.
    There are a lot of people married in this country. Marriages take place among the Roman Catolics frequently before Lent, and among Protestants at the end of June.
    Roman Catolics get married before Lent or after Lent. They nearly always get married on Tuesday or Saturday. There is a lot of match making in this country.
    There is a rhyme about the days you get married on.
    Monday for health,
    Tuesday for wealth
    Wednesday the best day of all.
    Thursday for losses,
