    was a song made up about the Crowbar Brigade. There were forty two houses knocked from that crossroads to our school. The stones that were in these houses were taken out by the County Council to repair the roads. All the that were in these houses and had the means emigrated to America.
    The land is fairly good and always was, except here and there where there are valleys and swamps. Part of Lough Ramor is in it. It contains no woods.
