There was a man in Mullamagavan named Edward Carolon who made his living on making clogs.
    There are four shoemakers in this district and their names are Patrick Lee lattaloghan, John Lynch Moher, James Lynch Drumeska and Benny Stafford can make boots Hugh Mallon is a clogmaker.
