    The smith sledges it on, and while he sledges cold water is poured on it
    According as it cools it tightens.
    He leaves it in a shade and his work is finished.
    (Drawing) "Dogs" used in a forge. By means of "dogs" the circle of red-hot iron is pulled on to the rim of felloes.
