- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)The man removed the Eel by cutting him in several pieces. The woman was terrified and said she'd bring the eel no further. The man decided to keep the eel for his own use and brought him - cut in pieces- home with him and placed him in a wooden chest and covered the chest with a heavy lid.Next morning the chest was empty.About three years later the man was cleaning a drain convenient to his home and discovered the eel alive in the drain. He examined the eel and saw the marks on his body of the places where he (the man) had cut the eel in pieces. (Pat McGovern Drumcask who came to the woman's assistance is only a few years dead)
