  1. Ancient Bell.
    The church in Newtown Mt-Kdy has a bell, which was at one time belonging to one of the churches built by St.Kevin at Glendalough. It was taken or in some way the church acquired it and it is heard ringing to summon people to church just as it rung in past ages in the lonely hills surrounding the glens of the two lakes.
