  1. When an animal is sold luck money is given. Six pence a head is usually given to the buyer for sheep. A shilling per head is given for pigs. From a shilling to five shillings per head is given for cattle. It is according to the price paid. Horse dealers generally bargain luck. About ten shillings is given. A shillings is given for calves.
