  1. 1. At Ballyboggan in Paddy Murphy's land there is said to be a crock of gold.
In 1798 when Le Hunt's horsemen were at Oulart Hill a soldier fired a shot at them, and they got up on their horses and didn't stop running till they came to Ardtramon where Le Hunt lived.
Then two of his men took a bag of gold from Le Hunt, and buried it at Ballyboggan where it is said to be buried still.
    2. At "Saxon Tunnel" at Bennett's of Ballytramont guns were hidden by the Black and Tans who had shot Willie Fogarty. Mr Bennett as after looking for the guns but he cannot find any trace of them.
