    Carraigin Street
It is called Carraigin because all the houses are built on a rock.
    Roches Road.
Roches Road is so called because Father Roche built two churches and that road joined them.
    School Street
It is called School Street because there was only one school at one time and it was in that street where the Third Order now is.
    The Deadery Hill
It is called the Deadery Hill because long ago there was only one grave yard and all the people who died had to be buried there. So after a while it was called the Deadery Hill.
