  1. I often heard tell of a bean sidhe. She cries for certain families. I heard an old woman say that she heard a bean sidhe crying one night when an old woman named Farrelly died. She called her son to ask him what was it that was crying and he looked around him and saw a little man in a red jacket and red cap flying over the house in which the old woman lived.
