    Scealta
    There was a man that lived County Cavan called James Reilly.
    He went to Granard one Hallow Eve; he met his friends there and they enjoyed themselves and had a great day altogether. In the evening Jimmie was a little the worse of drink and he had to rest now and again.I don't know what time it was when he left Granard but be that as it may, when he got to Ballywillan he said to himself it was the ghosts' hour for it must surely be near the middle of the night.
    The people of the country was asleep.
