  1. "The Cross of Christ about us." At this same time that these words were said, the sign of the cross was made with the back of the thumb on the forehead on the lips and on the heart.
    When going on a journey the prayer is "God be with you" or God give you luck."
    On donning new choihi[?] the weaver is greeted with-
    "God give you, your health to wear them"
    Friends meeting greet each other-
    "God morning and good luck."
    On entering a house the greeting is-
    "God save all here."
    If one gets milk from a neighbour the thanks is a prayer.
    "God bless the cows."
