  1. I live in Corr in the parish of Drumraney and in the barony of Kilkenny West. I do not know why this townsland was called "Corr". There are eight families living in this district and there is a population of about thirty. None of these are Irish speakers. Three of the houses in this district are slated and five are thatched. Three of these houses are two story high and the rest are one story. There are three very old people in this district, John Reilly and Mrs. Reilly are about eighty and Peter Conlon is about seventy five. None of them knows Irish.
