    and boil it well and strain off the water and mix the water with linseed oil it will cure all kinds of burns.
    Sores. There is a holy well in Ballynacroighy and the scum of it cures sores.
    Setting Bones. Mr Muldoon, who lives in Frewin about two miles from this school sets them. He mixes certain herbs and ties them in a cloth - then he ties the cloth round the injured bone. Some days afterwards he removes this and the bone is knit. My brother got a bone set with him.
    Deafness. A thorn taken from a grannóg and put to the ear, while saying a prayer. In the name of the Father, and off the Son and of the Holy Ghost.
    Ecezma. In Lakenstown one and a half miles from Ballnacargy, is a well, called St Dominic's well, and the water from it when applied three times a day is a cure
