  1. Killalloreen is situated on the Moate Road about half a mile out-side the town. It is called a fort and opposite it is another fort. They are circular in shale and there is an under ground passage from the Roilig to them. There was a Church founded by St. Looreen on the top of Killaloreen fort.
    There is also a fort in Rahugh and it is said that some man cut down the trees which surrounded while cutting them he cut his finger and died.
