  2. Tuite's land was confiscated, and given to John Cooke. This happened about the 16th century. It came down to Adolphus Cooke.
    Adolphus lived about the 19th century. He was a very eccentric man. One of his doings were:-
    He told one of his labourers to clean out the pond. He did it. When he had it done he told Adlphus. He then said "Go back now and put all the mud you have taken out of back in". He kept at this taking it out and putting it back in.
